How booking a private day with Pétur works.

Booking

You book by sending an enquiry or by writing to Pétur. The day is booked when Pétur has confirmed it by email with the price, the start time and the pick-up place.

Price

Every tour is private and priced for the whole group, not per person. You know the price before you book. Meals, admission tickets and anything not listed as included are paid on the day.

If you cancel

Cancel more than 7 days before the tour and you pay nothing. Between 7 days and 48 hours before, half the price is charged. Less than 48 hours before, or if nobody shows up, the full price is charged.

Weather and safety

Icelandic weather decides a lot. If Pétur judges a route unsafe, he changes it or offers another day. If no other day suits you, you pay nothing or get a full refund.

On the day

The route can change with the weather, road closures and the wishes of the group. The times in the tour descriptions are a guide, not a promise.

Your part

Dress for the weather and follow Pétur’s safety advice at waterfalls, black beaches and lava fields. Travel insurance is your own.
